Owner and Operator -

the dream team

Owner Jeff Robertson has been an active member of the Almonte community for as long as he can remember. Born and raised on a local farm – Jeff took the family business seriously and graduated from the Kemptville College of Agriculture Technology in 1984 and promptly took the reins from his father. Whilst running the farm, Jeff flexed his entrepreneurial muscles and opened up JR’s – a restaurant that many Almonte residents remember fondly. Jeff was awarded many accreditations during his reign at JR’s – most notably being the Business Man of the Year award.

Raising four boys introduced Jeff to his true passion – Motor Sports. His boys started racing in 2008 and after countless hours surrounded by motor sports and like-minded individuals, Jeff decided to turn their passion into something more rewarding and March Road Motor Sports was born in 2012. The last few years have been a wild ride and the business has brought in many awards – 2013 Dealer Excellence Award (LS Tractor), 2014 Dealer of the Year (Bentley), 2015 Dealer of the Year (Encore Boat Builders) – to name a few. March Road Motor Sports will always be the place Where Fun Comes Alive!

Jeff’s community roots still run deep and he’s always looking for new ways to support Almonte – he fundraised for the Almonte Hospital for years with JR’s and is now is utilizing March Road Motor Sports to help the community bring in a skatepark for Almonte’s youth.

Kyle Athrens

March Road Motorsports staff are experts and real enthusiasts about dirt bikes, ATVs, snowmobiles, boats and tractors. If you're anywhere near the Ottawa Valley please stop by the showroom and say hi!

Jeff Robertson

MRMS welcomed Kyle Athrens to the team in April 2016. Kyle was born and raised in neighbouring Carleton Place so he gets and respects small town vibes and values. Kyle has spent the last 16 years dedicated to motocross and it doesn’t stop there - he even started his own business, Rider’s Edge Performance in June of ’06 after receiving his diploma in Moto Mechanics from Toronto’s Centennial College. Putting his skills to good use, Kyle and his team sponsored a motorcycle run with proceeds benefiting the Carleton Hospital and hopes to do similar fundraisers in the future.
